The album 'A Fenland Journey' is a collection of 27 thematically linked pieces. Each work is a unique portrait of an aspect of the wildlife and landscapes of 'The Fens'.  The English Fenlands occupy south Lincolnshire and north Cambridgeshire around the huge estuary of 'The Wash'.  This sparsely populated part of eastern England is characterised by huge skies and reedy waterscapes, black soil, and an independent people with a fascinating history.

"The Copper fields' ,'Water machine' ,'The Lapwings Nest', 'Waterland' ,'Rain on Dark Water','Coltsfoot', 'Demoiselles','Straw Bear' to name but a few, typically evoke visions of this characterful but sometimes forgotten corner of England.
